We're Married!

And...it's official.  We are married!  We (mostly I) now have this wondrous blog and we are beyond stoked to be joining the wonderful world of bloggers.  Most people who know me know that I have a tough time finishing things I start.  This isn't my first blog, I've started another blog and a website a while back, both projects slowly fizzled out as I lost interest and my ADD got the best of me.  I know its trendy to start blogging after marriage, but I think I have some valid arguments for blogging.  Reasons I want to blog are as follows:

• To keep a journal - good times need to be remembered.  Blogging is quicker than handwriting in my journal (although I hope to keep that up) but it just seems like the smart next move. I also think it will make me a little bit more appreciative of my blessings if I take some time to type them up.
• I'm a wannabe.  I really am a total wannabe.  I feel that most bloggers are in general super put-together, organized people.  Unfortunately, I am not. My goal is to organize my life a little, slow down, and remember the good things that are happening around me.  This is just a start.
• I'm a slight stalker.  So what I like to stay in touch with people (sue me.) I want to get my friends, family, and anyone else following my blog and I will in turn follow them back so I can snoop around and read personal things about their lives.  It's fun.
• I like talking about myself. (just kidding...sort of) I don't think most bloggers cover this one, but let's be honest.  Blogging about your life is fun.  In my opinion there are two types of blogging: blogging and brag-blogging.  I'll try and stick with the first and avoid anything too uncomfortable, sappy, braggy, or personal...BUT I can't make any promises.

I think those are my top reasons for now. On my blog some of  the things I'll rant and rave about are probably: home decor, sports, fashion, my man, food, and whatever else I feel like. I'm excited to jump on board.  Holla atcha girl!
